About The Women's Community League

Established in 1919, the Women’s Community League’s mission is to foster the community spirit originally aroused by cooperative work during the First World War. The group has contributed time, money and boundless amounts of energy to the betterment of the Town of Weston and surrounding Communities. Each year, a scholarship fund to need-based Weston High graduating seniors averages over $25,000. At Class Day, awards are given by the League for excellence in French, Spanish, Latin and Literary studies. Two Germeshausen Awards for Achievement in Science and two Community Service and Citizenship awards are given.
