Service & Scholarship Fund

Established in 1930, the Service & Scholarship Fund provides funding for need based and merit based scholarships to graduating Weston High School Seniors. The Fund also provides funding to worthy organizations, groups or individuals benefiting Weston residents to help further their quality of life.

Scholarships

Applications for financial need scholarship are available through the Weston High School Guidance office. After receipt of the forms, all applicants are interviewed by the Service & Scholarship Committee members. The entire committee then meets to decide the awards and will notify the students. Merit based prizes are decided by the High School faculty and given out at Class Day.

Service

Requests are reviewed annually in May. Applications must be received by April 1 of each year to be included in the process for that year. A letter requesting funds should be sent with detailed information to:

Service & Scholarship Fund
PO Box 125
Weston, MA 02493

The Committee will then present its decisions to the WCL Board of Directors.

Other

A vote of the WCL Board of Directors is required to fund requests that do not fit the mission statement or are due to special circumstances.
