Empty Nesters - What & Where?

Here is some information on Empty-Nesters. We are DOers, LEARNers and ASSISTers, and we are women who want to "do" without a huge work commitment to make it happen.

  • Each person who joins will sign up to be on a committee to organize one event during one month a year.  The event being organized is based on the interests of the group doing the organizing.  We have no specific day or week for our events. We can include spouses/guests/significant others/other couples as the event dictates.

  • Each event demands minimal planning, only the answers to Topic, Time, Date, Place, Cost, and a notice in the WCL newsletter or by e-mail to acquaint the membership of the plan. E-mailed messages to the group can be sent via Pat Gowdy at PAT.GOWDY@Verizon.net .
  • Bobbi Peatman has agreed to serve as our treasurer, and has opened an account in our name, so if you need us to pay for something, you can ask that checks be written to "Empty Nesters". Call her for details.
