Women's Comunity League GROUPS

The Community League Garden Club welcomes those with an interest in gardening; expertise not required! Programs include lectures and demonstrations on gardening subjects both outdoors and in, day trips, workshops on flower arranging and holiday greens.

Weston Juniors are young Weston women who are committed to Community Service by volunteering their time and energy.

Weston Newcomers Group is an active group geared toward welcoming new residents to the town.

The Singles Group brings single women of The League together to enjoy a variety of social events once a month.

Sociables was formed within The League to provide a varied mix of social functions and events, both daytime and evening. It is open to all members of The League. Sociables is also involved in philanthropic activities such as providing holiday gift bags to Weston's elderly at the holiday season.

Stichers: Needlepoint, knitting, crochet – Beginners and experts are welcome. Meets once a month.

Empty Nestors Designed for those whose children have grown, this group will DO, LEARN or ASSIST, once a month. Each member will be responsible for one event.

WWWW - Weston Women Who Work: Network with other women who work outside the home, at various events.

INTERNATIONAL FOOD GROUPS: These groups are for those interested in preparing and dining on authentic foods of foreign countries. Individual recipes are then distributed to members.
